A former City of London corporate lawyer, Matthew honed his craft advising high- and ultra-high-value clients in some of the Square Mile’s most prestigious law firms.
Known for his analytical prowess, risk awareness, and commercially pragmatic approach, he consistently guided clients through high-risk acquisitions and disposals—earning a reputation as both a sharp legal mind and a resourceful strategist.
Realizing that larger corporate firms often favored formality over real human connection, Matthew branched out to establish and grow his own practice, thriving for seven years. After merging that business into one of Europe’s largest multinational firms, he moved to the United States to diversify and launch The Nectarine Club, a consultancy dedicated to bringing creative, relationship-first strategy to forward-thinking leaders.
